Most finance apps ask you to sign up, sync everything to their servers, and trust that your data stays safe. That works for some people—but it is not the only way to budget.
Pocket Money stores transactions, budgets, debts, and insights locally on your Android device. You can start tracking in seconds without creating an account.
What stays on your phone
When you log income, expenses, budgets, or IOUs, that information lives in app storage on your device unless you choose to export it. We do not upload your full transaction history to our servers.
- Daily spending and income entries
- Budget limits and category breakdowns
- Debts, tracking sheets, and reminders
- Health score, streaks, and chart data derived from your logs
When you might still share data
Optional features—such as banner ads or Google Play billing—may use third-party services under their own policies. Exporting a CSV creates a file on your device; you decide whether to email or back it up elsewhere.
If privacy is a priority, on-device tracking gives you a clear default: your money story stays yours until you say otherwise.
