Privacy Policy

1. Summary

Pocket Money is designed for on-device privacy. Your transactions, budgets, goals, tracking sheets, debts, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not require an account to use the app, and we do not sell your personal financial data.

2. Information we store on your device

The app may store locally, among other things:

• Income and expense transactions, categories, notes, and dates
• Budgets, savings goals, recurring transaction rules
• Tracking sheets, debts/IOUs, and related reminders
• App preferences (theme, currency, notification settings, security options)
• Derived analytics used in the app (e.g. health score, streaks, charts)

This data remains on your device unless you export it or back up your device through your operating system.

3. Information we do not collect centrally

We do not operate a cloud service that stores your full transaction history on our servers. Optional community benchmarks use anonymous category averages built into the app and do not upload your transaction history to our servers.

4. Currency and export

You choose your display currency in the app. When you export data (for example as CSV), that file is created on your device and is shared only if you choose to share it.

5. Notifications and security

Optional reminders and alerts are generated from your local data using your device's notification APIs. PIN lock and biometric unlock (where supported) use your device's system security features. We do not receive your PIN or biometric data.

6. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the app may display ads served by Google AdMob. Ad partners may collect device-related identifiers and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can remove ads with a one-time in-app purchase (no subscription). See Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Purchases (Google Play & RevenueCat)

In-app purchases (such as Remove ads) are processed by Google Play. Entitlement verification may be handled via RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

8. Third-party services

The app may integrate with:

• Google Play — distribution and billing
• Google AdMob — advertising (free tier)
• RevenueCat — purchase entitlement management

9. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Your choices

• Delete data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app
• Disable notifications in app or system settings
• Purchase ad-free mode to limit ad-related data collection
• Use privacy mode to hide amounts on screen

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last updated date at the top will change when we do.
